About the Event
From 28 May 2026, Mala Gallery will present Naissance, the first solo exhibition by artist Doriane Malige. Conceived as a true beginning, the exhibition brings together around twenty works made in oil pastel on paper, and marks a decisive milestone in the artist's journey — one who now devotes herself fully to painting after several years across interior architecture, design and visual creation.
On the boundary between figuration and abstraction, Doriane Malige has developed an organic and sensory world where forms, textures and movement seem in constant flux. Her compositions, built around curves, relief and the interplay of light, leave essential room for instinctive gesture, chance and emotion. Each work becomes an open space, inviting the eye to move freely between poetic evocation and abstraction.
